In June, buying activity in the saltpetre segment is increasing and the product regains the leadership in sales, which was lost in the middle of spring. At the same time, purchases are restrained by the beginning of the harvest, after which activity will increase even more.

The queue for saltpeter at the plants has already stretched for several weeks and Ostham even suspended sales to trading companies at the end of June, although it has already resumed them. It is worth noting that there were no sales stops for agricultural producers," analysts report.

The recommended price for saltpeter from Osthem remained at UAH 16.5 thousand/t, CRT, for lime-ammonium nitrate at UAH 13.4 thousand/t, CRT.

Polish saltpeter could be purchased at UAH 15.3-15.8 thousand/t, FCA border, but producers plan to raise prices.

Turkish lime-ammonium nitrate is offered at UAH 12.9 thousand/t, FCA/EXW.

Analysts predict price stability with a possible price increase. Manufacturers may try to raise prices due to low inventories and good demand. Importers will increase supplies, albeit in small volumes. Against the background of price increases, the cost of imported goods may increase.
