The Council will consider new tax incentives for business
The Verkhovna Rada's Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy recommended that the parliament adopt two draft laws on additional support for domestic industry and business during martial law. The chairman of the committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, reported this in Telegram, agronews.ua. writes
In particular, draft laws No. 8298 and No. 8299 provide for amendments to the Tax and Customs Codes, namely:
- exemption for the period of martial law from import duty and VAT on equipment and components imported for own production;
- exemption from VAT and import duty of equipment for professional (vocational-technical) and professional pre-higher education institutions;
- rent concessions for iron ore and water for the period of martial law;
- extension of the terms of service of registered PROs, in which such term ended during the period of martial law, until the termination of such state;
- benefits under the single tax for taxpayers of the 4th group.
In turn, People's Deputy from the "Voice" faction, the first deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax and Customs Policy, Yaroslav Zheleznyak clarified in Telegram that the Ministry of Finance opposed the adoption of the law, in addition, the reduction of taxes was not agreed with the IMF.
"During the committee, it was noted that this draft law will not be adopted without agreement with the IMF. My prediction is that we will never accept it as a whole to such an extent precisely because of the position of the IMF," Zhelezniak wrote.
He added that consideration of draft laws is planned in the hall at the next session of the parliament.
