Saltpeter prices have risen again in Ukraine
Recommended prices for nitrate fertilizers in Ukraine have officially increased since Monday, September 4. The price of nitrate rose by UAH 1.5 thousand to UAH 20 thousand/t, for lime-ammonium nitrate by UAH 1 thousand to UAH 16 thousand/t, CPT.
Currently, the main imports to Ukraine come from European countries.
- Polish saltpeter, which was imported earlier, was offered at 18.6-19.5 thousand UAH/t in warehouses.
- Bulgarian saltpeter was offered at UAH 18.7-19.4 thousand/t, FCA port.
- Turkish ammonia and lime-ammonium nitrate are offered at UAH 20.1 thousand/t and UAH 17.4 thousand/t, FCA/EXW.
Analysts predict price stability with a possible decrease at the end of September or at the beginning of October. After the increase, prices for Ukrainian products will remain relatively stable. The demand will decrease, but the goods will still be bought until the end of winter sowing, after which we can expect a relaxation on the part of the producers. At the same time, the price of gas will be one of the key pricing factors in the nitrate market in Ukraine. In the case of its high value, you should not expect a decrease in the price of saltpeter.
