Prices for Ukrainian sunflower oil continue to decrease

According to the monitoring data of AI " APK-Inform ", a decreasing price trend has been observed on the Ukrainian export market of unrefined sunflower oil since the beginning of July

The situation, as before, is caused by the decrease in the need for European importers to purchase unrefined oil of Ukrainian origin due to the high rate of sunflower seed imports from Ukraine. Thus, they are able to produce finished products at their own facilities. It is worth noting that pressure on prices was also exerted by a significant decrease in quotations for vegetable oils on the world market.

Thus, in the specified period, the demand prices for unrefined sunflower oil decreased by $150-200 per t and as of July 22, they are mostly announced in the range of $1200-1400 per t DAP (Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Lithuania).
