In November, according to available data, 4.1 million tons of grain cargo were transported on the network of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, which became an absolute record for grain transportation on a monthly basis. This was announced on December 6 by the company's press service.

It is also specified that the achieved figure is 2.7% higher than the result of the same period a year earlier.

"Ukrzaliznytsia is, first of all, a big, complex, but accurate mechanism of transportation and logistics of our state. The quality of this mechanism is in front of you - we see a record and do not plan to stop. We continue to work on improving transportation and record ", - said the chairman of the board of JSC" Ukrzaliznytsia "Alexander Kamyshin.

The press service also clarified that grain transportation for export in November increased by 9.2% to 3.7 million tons, import transportation - by 8% to 16.2 thousand tons. Transportation of grain in domestic traffic amounted to 256 thousand tons, transit - 125 thousand tons.

"In general, in January-November 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 29.8 million tons of grain cargo, including 3.3 million tons domestically, 25.8 million tons for export and imports. 194.3 thousand tons, transit - 488 thousand tons ", - summarizes in the message.
