On the preconditions for the recovery of grain and oilseed prices in Ukraine
The AgroMarketUUB telegram bot from the Ukrainian Universal Exchange published an analytical report on the grain and oil crops market in Ukraine and the world for March 2023. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Universal Exchange, writes agronews.ua.
Average demand prices in Ukraine at the end of March in relation to February:
- 2nd grade wheat (EXW) – UAH 6,580/t (-3.24%);
- wheat 3rd class (EXW) – 6,480 UAH/t (-2.11%);
- fodder wheat (CPT) – UAH 5,840/t (-0.68%;
- fodder barley (CPT) – UAH 5,520/t (-0.72%);
- fodder corn (CPT) – UAH 5,980/t (-0.66%).
At the end of the month, the situation changed somewhat. This was facilitated by information about the arrival of new ships for loading at the ports of Odesa, as well as the recovery of quotations on the world market. However, due to the limited demand in the domestic market, prices in the vast majority continued to be under pressure. Information about the decrease in the export of agricultural products from the Russian Federation adds optimism in the recovery of prices.
Also, the analytical review contains information about:
- climatic conditions for sowing in Ukraine;
- information on logistics;
- overview of world stock prices;
- factors influencing price growth in Ukraine and the world and many other interesting things.
