The government will restore preferential lending for farmers

In the near future, the Cabinet of Ministers will restore preferential lending for farmers within the framework of the "5-7-9" state program.

This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi during a meeting with farmers of the occupied and de-occupied territories of Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports .

The planned size of the loan guarantee is at the level of 50% of the loan amount.

As for tax and customs benefits, there are draft laws in the parliament, which provide for the exemption from taxation of the payers of the single tax of the fourth group for land plots located in the territories of hostilities and/or temporarily occupied territories. Owners of property destroyed or damaged as a result of russia's armed aggression should also be exempted from paying real estate tax.

Recently, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Secretary of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy Ivan Chaikivskyi noted that the main problem faced by farmers, especially in times of war, is the lack of working capital.
