Ukraine banned the export of nitrogen fertilizers
The quota for the export of mineral or chemical, nitrogen fertilizers has been reduced from 210,000 tons per quarter to zero, that is, in fact, a ban on the export of these goods from the country has been re-introduced. This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 759 dated July 1, published on its website on Thursday, writes agronews.ua.
It is reported that immediately after the meeting of the government on July 1, its representative in the parliament, Taras Melnychuk, announced that nitrogen mineral fertilizers were excluded together with oats from the list of goods whose export is subject to quotas, and included in the list of goods whose export is subject to licensing.
However, the published resolution regarding oats confirmed this information, and regarding mineral fertilizers, it denied it and actually increased exports instead of liberalizing them.
