The program "Available loans 5-7-9" will be expanded for the purchase of agricultural land — Leshchenko

The state will expand the program of available loans "5-7-9" for the purchase of agricultural land after the launch of the market in July 2021.

This was announced at a press conference by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko, UNIAN reports. 

«At the time of the launch of the land market, the state will expand the 5-7-9 program to provide an opportunity for people who work on earth, redeem it. Also, the state has provided UAH 1 billion to compensate for the loan rate during the purchase of land. There are funds in the reserve to provide full-fledged financial instruments within the land market », — he said.

In addition, the Ministry expects the receipt of funds from the de-shading of the land. 

«We are counting on the financial reserve that will come from shadowing. Now about 8 million hectares of land are in the shade, no taxes are paid from them. After the de-shadowing, these taxes will go to special development funds and will be directed to the development of the agricultural sector, as well as to the agrarians - to buy out land», — noted Roman Leshchenko.

It will be recalled that since the beginning of the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program, the participating banks have issued 13,104 loans totaling over UAH 32 billion.
