Farmers can complain about the damage caused by the occupiers

The Association of Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club, with the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, has created an electronic platform for collecting information on damages to the agricultural sector of Ukraine through the Russian occupiers. This was reported in the UCAB.

The information will be passed on to public authorities and further reimbursement and compensation.

"Russian troops purposefully mine the fields, steal and blow up agricultural machinery, destroy agricultural infrastructure. Estimation of the caused losses is an important stage in the further reconstruction of agrarian potential of our state ", - it is reported on a platform site.

UCAB urged representatives of agribusiness to join this platform, as it will create more opportunities for lobbying and advocacy for the need to compensate for losses to the agricultural sector from the amount of compensation or reparations that Ukraine can count on.

The purpose of the platform is to record and document the damages and damages for processing by public authorities and further compensation and compensation.

Among the types of property that can be recorded as destroyed, stolen or damaged:

  • ground section
  • infrastructure facilities
  • agricultural machinery
  • trucks and cars
  • resource reserves
  • equipment and facilities
  • livestock and crop products
“The mission of the platform is to consolidate data and process it. It is important to understand in which regions what damages were inflicted. That is why UCAB, with the assistance of the Presidium, has created a specialized platform for the agricultural sector, ”said UCAB Director General Roman Slastyon.

The electronic platform for collecting information on the damage caused to the agricultural sector of Ukraine from the war with Russia was implemented with the support of: MHP, Agro-Region, Agricom Group, Gals Agro and AMAZONE.
